As Green Marine’s Managing Director, Jason is responsible for co-ordinating and managing the companies business, personnel and vessels. This involves detailed planning, and overseeing operations from onshore and onboard various vessels.

Jason has been recognised as one of the worlds experts in providing expert advisory services in the marine energy sector, specifically in device and cable installations in wave & tidal projects. Jason has also served on the advisory board of Wave Energy Scotland for the past 5 years, this is a government body that provides funding for successful technologies and is a combination of world experts from various sectors.

Green Marine has been the recipient of numerous national and international industry awards under the leadership of Jason.

Green Marine has grown from a vessel owner operating company to a provider of turnkey solutions, with a capable in-house team of engineers who have been commended time and time again for their success.

Prior to joining Green Marine, Jason successfully operated his own fishing vessels for many years.  His long-term association with the sea gives him unrivalled knowledge when it comes to marine operations in challenging wave and tidal sites.

Jason ensures workshops are carried out during the planning phases, so the operational expertise and specialist recommendations are agreed by all parties prior to the engineering team providing detailed engineering.

Jason also has experience as a vessel engineer, having sailed as chief engineer prior to gaining his officers qualifications.
