As Principal Consultant and Director of Sandaig Engineering, our mission has been to deliver “Tailored QA/QC consultancy services to the oil, gas and renewables industries”.

Familiar with the needs and expectations of business sectors from energy to engineering, design to distribution working and living in Europe, The Americas, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. The first half of his career was spent working within QA/QC, engineering and supply chain in the electronics and dot com industry living and working in USA (Seattle and San Jose) and South East Asia. The second half of Robbie’s career has been in management positions within Energy service companies and operators based in Aberdeen but working globally.

An honours graduate in Manufacturing Engineering Robbie also holds an MSc in Quality Management both from the University of Paisley (1996). Robbie has significant experience working in all areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Control for over 25 years. He is an IRCA qualified lead auditor, a TickIT software auditor, holds the CQP MCQI accreditation and has held the Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation since 2007.
